Fluorescent lamps are available in up to six different shades of white: Daylight Deluxe (6,500K), Daylight (5,000K), Cool White (4,000K), White (3,500K), Warm White (3,000K), and Deluxe Warm White (2,700K). But which one is right for your application? Choosing any one of the shades is a matter of personal taste, individual perception, local preference and the type of atmosphere to be created. Cultural influences should also be considered, for example people in Northern Europe prefer Warm White, while Southern Europeans tend to choose Cool White.
